More compact version to play both 2 min. and 4 min cylinders. Due to that feature the Edison Phonographs are often (but not always) called "Combination Type". The 1910 parts list never uses that term, while a promotional leaflet (also of 1920) applies it throughout.

Ich besitze eine Edison Standard Phonographen.Meiner Meinung nach von Typ D ?Auf dem Typenschild fehlt aber die Bezeichnung Combination type ? Handelt es sich hier um einen anderen Typ ?
Letztes Patent Okt. 3 1905 . 4 min H-Reproducer.
