I have purchased an Eico 666,I am cleaning and testing this unit. I have read some modifications for this unit, diodes mounted to the meter leads. Would this be a good modification and can they be mounted to the wires other end away from the meter? Seems it would be easier then mounting directly to meter connections. Would there be any other mods to make for durability and reliability? All information would be appreciated. Richard
