Audio signal polarity tester. EMT160-1 sends a pulse when trigger knob is released, and EMT160-2 detects the polarity of this pulse (positive or negative, red or green lamp).
EMT160-1 uses one 9V battery and a capcitor to generate pulses. Acoustic pulse can be generated for microphone testint.
EMT160-2 is powered by 2 x 4.5V flashlight batteries.
EMT 161 preamplifier can be plugged into the slot on top of the EMT160-2 unit. This preamp has built-in microphone or it can be connected to an external dynamic microphone for loudspeaker polarity testing. This preamplifier is powered by the EMT160-2 unit
