This Emerson model BA199 receives BC (540-1725kHz) band only. According to Stein It was available in brown bakelite and ivory plastikon. See also the miniature replica from China and the other model version with long waves. The model with BC and long waves has a band switch at the rear.

Auf meiner zur Zeit laufenden Ausstellung übergab mir ein Besucher ein "Mini-Radio" nach Vorbild des Emerson BA199 - Made in China mit MW und UKW in "moderner Machart", so wie sie zu Hauf seit den 80er Jahren dem Markt sind.
Der Unterschied zu der sonstigen Massenware besteht aber darin, dass ein Originalgerät aus alter Zeit als Vorbild diente.
Die Abmessungen sind 120x88x45 mm³.
Ich bin der Auffassung, dass man diese "Modelle" nicht als eigenständige Modelle anlegen sollte - oder?
