The PP series are all layer cells, often 4 or 6 stack of exact type used in "Batrymax"/"Radio Batteries HT packs (typically 4 x stacks of 15 "biscuit" style cells). There never was a PP2.
Connection type: Identical to PP3 style snap.
About 920mAH to 1200mAH depending on load and type. The late model PP6 (6F50-2) packs used 2 x PP3 type layers internally which would be less than 900mAH. Two alkaline PP3 would be a little more than original capacity (6LR61-2 in theory about 1150 mAH) and a better choice for a replica pack.

6 x AAA cells in a 2 x 3 holder will fit. The clip is identical to a the PP3 type. Only use Alkaline type.
Glue top closed but leave bottom open. Sometimes I add "Velcro" type hook & eye strip to close it.
