  • Second version of a radio for export to Central Africa for CABS, 19 - 63 m and 200 - 535 m. Was also available with only SW, see the 1949 "Saucepan Special" developed in Africa. 

    Later BEREC versions (J-A3F SW only and J-A4F MW+SW) Exhibited in 1954 This model might be J-A2F chassis.

    The replacement for CABS (Central African Broadcasting Service) "Saucepans" was likely the BEREC Pioneer. See Article from 1959 Unesco Courier
