BEREC Skyscraper Mk. II is similar or identical. One of four Deluxe Table Models.
Includes Magic Eye tuning and greater volume than most UK "All Dry Battery" valve radio sets. This is likely also an Export Model, but for a non-BEREC market as it has no Longwave and isn't listed in common UK Service sheet/Books of the 1950s.
Essentially a Push Pull output + RF preamp version of Ever Ready Skyscraper (no RF preamp or push pull, but 2 stage IF amp) and also similar to AM only version Sky Monarch (no RF Preamp, only 3 bands, but Magic Eye & Push Pull). All have very similar cabinets, may only differ in rear panel and Tuning scale. Even the Sky Monarch with VHF-FM is similar or identical cabinet
B103 Combo battery recommended due to twice filament consumption of Sky Prince or Sky Queen (B136) of 250 mA. Increased HT current of RF preamp, Magic Eye and Phase splitter offset by saving in near class B bias of Push Pull output, thus total consumption is similar to B103 in a All-dry Transportable Receiver Model T Table Model.
Loop Aerial and external Aerial & Earth connections
