- Bandfilter circuit between RF and mixer stage. Separate oscillator (27). See also The FADA models with the very similar chassis KO-C, which is often written as KOC - so we have to have both in the model name field. There are several versions - depending on the cabinet number. Rider's shows the following for the same schematic: model 51 (KO), 53 and 57 (KO-C). They have 4 tuned RF circuits but only another 3 tuned IF circuits. One is untuned. Stein dates 1932, but it is already in the first Rider's, page 88C (and in volume 1 as FADA 1-30), but not in Gernsback from 1930.
There is also a completely different late Catalin model 53 (1939).
