The Fairbanks Morse 6A is an AC operated, 6 tube BC, Police and SW band chassis used in various models. Has 5.5" dial with a 16:1 tuning ratio. Also has AVC and 2 stage audio circuit.
Band Frequency Ranges are as follows:
BC Band......................540 - 1730kHz
Police Band.................1.7 - 5.7MHz
SW Band....................5.6 - 18.3MHzNOTE: 6A is the chassis number and NOT the model number. Please post pictures of the radio's on the appropriate radio model page and NOT to this page.
The 6A chassis is similar to chassis 5C except 5C has no eye tube.
