406F Adam
Cabinet:
The Capehart model series 400 with Adam cabinet were made in two cabinet versions: The first models were called Adam 402 for 1931/32, followed by 402A (1932/33), 402B (1933/34) and Adam 402C for 1934/35.
Model Adam 406 followed as Adam 406D in 1935/36, 406E, 406F, 406G, 406H, 406K-AM and 406K-FM, 406M and Adam 406N for 1946-1948 with the post war changer 41-E instead of 16-E.
Chassis:
This Capehart series 400-F has the following chassis: Tuner with the following 12 tubes: 6K7, 6K7, 6L7, 6K7, 6G5, 6K7, 6H6, 6K7, 6H6, 6J7, 6C5, 5Z4 - according to Rider's 8; Bass Amplifier with 6N7G, 2 x 6C5G, 6F6G, 2 x 6L6G and 83 (25 watts, driving the 18 inch speaker, schematic N-920) and a Treble Amplifier (schematic N-919) with 6F6G, 2 x 6L6G and 5Z3. See also the rare model 500-FR which has on top of that "Middle Register Amplifier" with the same tubes as the "treble amplifier".
