It seems that this Federal model Orthosonic B30 was made in two versions, one with a loudspeaker in the left compartment, not visible when the lid is closed, and this one with a loudspeaker in front which comes up as a part of a circle on top. The Federal B30 needs different battery voltages: 135, 67.5, 22.5, -4.5, -9 plus filament.
