- The model B30 has three dials (primary tuning control knobs). It operates also with 199 tubes. It seems that this Federal model Orthosonic B30 was made in two versions, this one with a loudspeaker in the left compartment, not visible when the lid is closed, and the other with a loudspeaker in front which comes up as a part of a circle on top. The Federal B30 needs different battery voltages: 135, 67.5, 22.5, -4.5, -9 plus filament.
