- This model was a detachable car radio. It could be unplugged and slid out of its position under the dash board and used as a mains powered mantel radio. When used as a car radio, a non-synchronous vibrator is used. The 6AD8 is reflexed as the I.F. amplifier and the first A.F. amplifier.
