  • The Stereo 88 was a stereo recorder with stereo playback capabilities. It had two speeds – 3¾ and 15 ips.  In line with all Ferrographs of the day, it could handle reels of up to 8¼ inches in diameter.

    The Model 77 was identical except that it could record in mono AND playback in stereo (for replaying pre-recorded stereo tapes) and had speeds of   7½ and 7½ ips.

    Both machines were decks only, with no internal power amplifiers or speakers
