The main differences with the 300A verison is that it appears to have a full width head (2x better S/N ratio) for compatibility with other dictation machines where the tape can't be turned over (Broadcast machines in 1950s also often "full track" mono) thus total time is 24 minutes rather than 24 + 24 = 48 per tape.
