  • Notes
  • The Firestone S-7403-1, 7403-1 Brilliantone Code No. D-LF-201 radio has the following features:

    • BC (535-1720 kHz) band.
    • Built-in loop antenna.
    • Airplane dial.

The Firestone S-7398-9 Code No. D-LF-200 has the same schematic/chassis, and the 7398-9Z has the same schematic/chassis with additional RF filtering (R17 || C14 and R16 || C13).

Note that the date on the Rider's 16-14 schematic is December 6, 1941, and that the US entered WW2 later that month. In January 1942, most of the domestic manufacturing was directed to assist the war effort, and most domestic radio production was halted as soon as possible; therefore, this model may have been ready for production in late 1941 or early 1942 but was delayed until after the war. Also, the label is marked "N-4744" which may indicate 1947.
