Built-in MPX decoder. Hybrid audio amplifier.The Fisher Ambassador VII (model A690) console was a AM/FM stereo receiver with a Dual 1009 record changer.
Manufactured in 1965, the console contained the following components:
1. Model 59T tuner - 13 tubes
2. Model 59A amplifier - 3 tubes (hybrid)
3. Model MPX125 multiplex decoder - 2 tubes
4. Dual 1009 record changer
5. 2 x 10" woofer speakers
6. 4 x 5" mid range speakers
7. 2 x 2.5" tweeter speakers
8. Optional Fisher model L22 reel-to-reel tape deck
