  • The book Radio! Radio!, Hill, 1986. suggests this is a radio in bookcase. Very similar to 4756 (1947). However ERT publication Nov 1948. shows a picture of this set as a table model. Perhaps it was produced with more than one type of case? The early production sets had the heaters wired in parallel, later sets were series wired like the AC/DC version.
