  • The Ambassador TV4/C is a 12" (CRM153 Mazda picture tube) corner console television receiver made by R. N. Fitton Limited in Brighouse, Yorkshire. 405 Lines TV, British VHF Band I. The equivalent as table set is TV4/TM. The Fitton corner consoles were shortlived because one has to sit in a corner. Fitton began this type of TV with TV1 in 1949, followed by TV2 with 3 knobs - also as table model and TV3 as table model with two knobs like this console but also one with 4 knobs and the same case like this one, followed by TV5, also similar with radio etc.
