    Battery is US / Australian Eveready 744 (1950s  later type, older 1930s 744 is different kind of pack), much larger (67 x 101 x 67mm)  than otherwise compatible Ever Ready PP1.

    Australian / NZ  Philips (Fleetwood in Australia was a Philips brand) version of Evette / Sharpie / L3X72T series, but without LW. European versions use 4 x D cells or a 996 (spring top) pack.

    The Australian and NZ versions will have different call signs on the Tuning Scale.
