An AC mains 3 band table radio housed in a bakelite cabinet. With terminals for an extension loudspeaker. These radios incorporate an unusual arrangement for indicating volume and wave-band settings; the control knobs are plain, with no line, pointer or other markings. However, there are two "meter-style" indicators set behind the top of the tuning dial which show the position of these controls, and driven via cord linkages (see photo section). Price in 1938 £9 19s 6d. See also the GEC BC3950L model with different AC mains voltage options.
