  • Notes
  • This mixer & IF amplifier is used in the 6 GHz receiver of the GEC-AEI SHF, Broadband Radio Relay Equipment SPO 5558.

The Magic Tee Balanced Mixer (665724) mixes the Local Oscillator with the incoming receiver frequency to produce a 70 MHz IF. The amplifier filters and amplifies the mixer output to provide a 70 MHz IF output of 0.5 V p-p. at CX2. Tuning adjustments are provided to adjust bandwidth amplitude linearity, Group & Phase Delay, and output return loss of the IF signal.
