An AC mains 3 band table radio housed in a bakelite cabinet. With press buttons for 8 pre-set radio stations plus 4 press buttons for waveband selection and switching off. With terminals for gramophone pickup and external loudspeaker. Released March 1939 price 10 guineas. The GEC BC4050L model is the same with different mains voltage options. The same chassis is fitted to the GEC BC4054 console radio and a similar chassis is fitted to the GEC BC4058 radiogram.
