The plates of this condenser are so cut as to obtain a nearly uniform wavelength variation. The plates are spaced 1/32"; 17 plates are stationary and 16 rotary. The approximate 0º capacitance is 30 pF, the maximum capacitance is 1025 pF.
The steel shaft runs in 45º brass cone bearings.
