  • The General Electric 141 is a battery operated portable 4 tube BC band receiver.  The BC band range is 540 to 1600 kHz.  Has built-in loop antenna.  Battery used was Eveready No. 756 (or equivalent) which provided 90V and 7.5V.  Model 143 uses similar cabinet but operates from both batteries and AC mains.
