The GE model J-718 is a Radio-Phonograph Combination console. Models J-718 and J-728 share the same radio chassis but a different cabinet. Reception is broadcast 540 to 1600 kHz and short waves 2.3 to 22 MHz in two bands: 2.3 to 6.9 and 6.9 to 22 MHz. Output is 4 watts undistorted (5.5 max.). There are 3 different transformers possible, all for 110 to 125 volts, but watts depending on cycles: A-6 for 60 cycles, 95 watts, A-5 for 50 cycles, 95 watts and C-2 for 25 cycles, resulting in 105 watts.
