- The General Electric "all transistor" television model TR-805 has naturally then still a picture tube. Guest John Eng, La Palma, CA, USA, told us: "The TR- 805 has 2 versions. The TR 805 AEB came first, followed by the TR 805 BEB. TR 803 AGB and the TR 805 AEB came out the same time, the TR 805 BEB came later. It is featured in "Popular Science" in 1965 as a 9 inch all transistor television. This model is similar to the GE TR 803. The difference is the cabinet style."
