General Electric (Aust.) Model RA1
A six valve single unit B/C radio stereogram, has following features:
Separate bass and treble controls; these provide continuosly variable frequency response on radio and records to plus or minus 10 db at 70 and 15,000 C/s (Hz).
Record changer: Garrard changer has single head for stereo and monaural records.
Speaker: twin cone 9" x 6" oval. Output: radio and stereo have 6 watts output with minimum distortion.
Controls: concealed, with large radio tuning scale for ease of operation. Record storage: up to 180 discs, with magnetic locks on doors.
Cabinet: hand finished seasoned timber in full Italian walnut, butt maple and rose mahogany.
