The Gold Line 100 watt noninductive dummy load is intended for testing transmitters with 50 ohm nominal RF output impedance. An SO-239 bulkhead connector is built in. The Non-inductive 52 ohm resistor is snap-in-cartridge mounted.
This device would typically be used by amateur radio operators, testing a transmitter into a dummy load in place of an antenna as a means to avoid unintended (and illegal) on-the-air RF emissions.
