- The Grundig-Majestic folder from 1957 shows this AM-FM-Short Wave model Lido 4090 W/3D. It has two 7" x 9" oval concert speakers and two electrostatic tweeters.
Push pull chassis. Five level Multi-Sonic tone control system (see Grundig Wunschklang - Register in German), illuminated indicators, "Eagle-Eye" tuning. Connecting jacks for remote control Baton, external speaker Mystic Maestro and phono. Choice of Walnut or Mahagony cabinet.
A schematic is on record for the domestic version Konzertgerät 4090.
Note: the domestic version has 9 tubes plus selenium rectifier. We don't know if the Majestic catalog is in error or if there are really 10 tubes used in the model.
