- Notes
-
Grundig Majestic Musical Instrument K2 SO US is a stereo set with an additional amplifier for the right channel, which includes a separate power supply and an additional EL84, and a STEREO/MONO switch located next to the phono.
Includes an EBC41 tube which is not typical for the export market, as there is no American substitute for this tube (and the 8-pin with key miniature style is not utilized by the American market so cannot be tested on USA testers).
May be operated on 115v or 220v, but BOTH the main radio chassis AND the external right amplifier must be set to the correct voltage, even though there is only one power cord.
See also the similar shaped model Grundig Majestic K2, but constructed as a monaural console with different schematic.
