Model DX used Denco Maxi Q plug-in coils.
Two were originally issued with a kit. It was principally similar to the DX Mk.2 which used a different valve and a new type of chassis. Optionally a second kit of parts could be ordered for an AF amplifier, which was no longer possible in the Mk.2 version.
