- 10 diodes, crystal controlled 12 channel transceiver in the 27 MHz "Citizens' band" with 5 watts input, features squelch control and PA-switch for paging. In 1967 Hallicrafters had the contract to build CB radios for Sears, the unit is identical with the Sears Silvertone model 6552, only knobs and trims are different.
