Coverage: 0.545-2, 2-7.5, 7.5-30.5 MHz, AM/CW (BFO), G- means Grey cabinet, also a version with a maroon cabinet was reportedly produced, the Hallicrafters S-41G (gray) and S-41W (white) are electrically and mechanically identical to the EC-1A/B and similar (at least different scales) EC1 from Echophone USA with the main differences being color and knob style and were produced in 1945 just prior to the introduction of the S38

Bandspreizung (Feinabstimmung); BFO; Noise Limiter; Originalpreis $33,50, das Gerät wurde auch als Echophone EC-1A (nicht zu verwechseln mit EC-1) für $29,50 verkauft (siehe Bild). Um Verwechslungen zu vermeiden: Echophone EC-1 und EC-1B haben frontseitig zwei Schiebeschalter, nur der EC-1A und Hallicrafters S-41 besitzen vier davon. lt.Moore stammt auch der EC-1B von 1945 (Manual).
Mein EC-1A hat induktive Bandspreizung.
