- Notes
- The radio model Songhuajiang 松花江 7404B (Songhua River) has the following key features 主要性能: Frequency range 频率范围: broadcast band 535 - 1605 kc. Sensitivity 灵敏度: < 1.5 mV/m. Selectivity 选择性: 20 dB N/S. Set audio output 额定功率: 150 mW. Electric power consumption 电源消耗 at zero signal 零信号: is not given. The IF 中频频率 is most probably 465 kc. Loudspeaker impedance is probably 8 ohm. 5 diodes.
Manual 02 from 1965 lists Model 7404B with manufacturer 哈尔滨无线电厂 Harbin Radio Factory. The later manual 03 lists it together in the same documentation on page 196 with Songhuajiang 松花江 7403, 7404 and 7404B for "Harbin No.4 Radio Factory" 哈尔滨无线电四厂 - where we bring the following history: 哈尔滨新生开关厂 Harbin Xinsheng Kaiguan Factory; Harbin (Heilongjiang, NE) changed the name in 1970 to "Harbin No.4 Radio Factory" 哈尔滨无线电四厂. This can tell us that either this model was made over many years - by at least two companies - or that there is an error in manual 02. We have to keep the model at both factories anyway - otherwise a person will create it - and we all would not be aware of this.
