Mono version of the preamp Heathkit SP-2, SP-2A.
SP-1 was a mono preamplifier of modular design - a kit was available to add a second channel for stereo, making it into an SP-2.
The SP-1A followed a year later, with minor circuit changes, no change in appearance. Rated distortion was cut in half.
