• Das Heathkit Modell IM-5228 ist ein Röhrenvoltmeter (Vacuum Tube Volt Meter, VTVM) mit Doppeltriode als Differenzverstärker und Auskopplung des Messsignals in Brückenschaltung an den Kathoden mit einem Drehspulinstrument (200 µA). Die Gleichrichtung für Wechselspannungsmessung im Gegentaktmodus mit einer Speicherkapazität von 50 nF mit der Doppeldiode ECC82 ergibt zunächst eine Gleichspannung von Uss = 1,42 x 2 x Ueff. Dadurch wird eine hochohmige Mischung (22 MOhm) mit einer Gleichspannung mit echter Symmetrieeinstellung ermöglicht. Die hohe Impedanz garantiert eine untere Grenzfrequenz von etwa 6 Hz (- 3 db).
