The Hp 8904A is a multifunction Frequency Synthesizer that produces six fundamental waveforms to create complex signals.
The waveforms available are:dc,sinewave, ramp(sawtooth),triangle, squarewave, and white(Gaussian) noise.
The standard instrument is equipped with a single internal channel and one output. The addition of available options can provide:a second signal output port(option 002), three addional internal channels(option 001) with modulation capabilities and the ability to fast-hop(option 003) between different phase, frequency, and amplitude settings.
Frequency range:0 to 600kHz for sinewave,0 to 50 kHz for square,triangle and ramp.Amplitude 0 to 10 Vpp into 50 Ohm load.
To note the capability to output a FM Stereo signal of which is possible to configure all parameters.
