The HP Pattern Generator 3781A was designed to conform with CEPT and CCITT standards, and provides four bit rate (up to 50 Mb/s) test patterns in one instrument.
Options included:
001: adds four 1V pk-pk HDB3/AM1 outputs (BNC) to rear panel for $520
002: standard model with Siemens 75 ohm connectors in place of some BNC for N/C
061: pack mounted for $118
062: rack mounted with Opt 001 outputs accessed from the front panel for $250
