  • The HP 8648C is a synthesized signal generator with high performance and reliability, operating in the frequency range 9 KHz to 3200 MHz with an output power (on 50 Ohm) from -136 to +13 dBm (this model includes option 1EA high power up to +20 dBm below 1 GHz).

    The model has also option 1E5  High Stability Timebase with frequency accuracy of +/-0.15 x10 exp-6. The generator offers AM, FM and Phase type of modulations.

    The generator simple interface allows for easy receiver tuning and alignment; with 360 full storage register and ten-user-definable sequences can adapt to any test procedure. For automated test applications the HP 8648C offers full HP-IB programmability.
