An AC mains 3 band five valve (plus rectifier) superhet table radio covering MW, LW and SW (16.5 - 52 metres). Sockets for earth and external aerial, and provision for a gramophone pick-up and extension loudspeaker.
A similar chassis is fitted to the HMV 661 radiogram. See also an earlier HMV 651 model with a different cabinet and valve complement, built in Belgium.
