    A 220-250 volt broadcast mantel radio having five valves, housed in plastic cabinet in two-tone colour combinations of white front with beige, gold, pink, bronze, green, turquoise or charcoal black.

    Features: Inbuilt Ferrite rod aerial; provision for external aerial connection. Speaker 5" round; output 2 watts. Straight line tuning dial, illuminated all Australian B/C stations shown.

    Controls: tuning, volume, tone, on-off. (FROM MINGAY'S PRICE SERVICE)

    Uses both the "Little Nipper" designation from a long line of previous models and "Super 5". Supercedes earlier model, Little Nipper 64-52.

    This model was HMV Australia's last produced AC mains powered valve mantel and was on sale until 1968. Price after the introduction of decimal currency in Australia (14/2/1966) was $52.50.

Hi,

The model page lists the converter as type 6BE6.  The circuit diagram attached shows it as a 6AN7 (and my model uses the 6AN7).

I don't  know if this is a variant or an error.
