  • The nameplate reads: "Receiver Model X55" and the dog "Nipper" listening tells us that it is a "His Master's Voice (HMV)" model. On the original, this writing can also be seen just above the picture. The tubes (valves) given are not all original and we have put in what was in the set only. We would like to know about this early portable radio.
