Model VIII table gramophone, H.M.V., 1913. This is the oldest table model sold by the Gramophone Co. It has a simple wooden horn within which the motor is suspended. This system survived until the early 1920s and is also distinguished from the die-cast horn model by its thin ribs and the forward position of the winding handle.

Grammofono da tavolo modello VIII, H.M.V., 1913. É questo il più vecchio modello da tavolo commerciato dalla Gramophone Co. Ha una semplice tromba di legno entro la quale è sospeso il motore. Questo sistema sopravvisse fino ai primi annni '20 e si distingue dal modello a tromba pressofusa anche per le stecche sottili e per la posizione avanzata della manovella di carica.
