The Voicemaster 65 tape recorder contains a tapedeck, amplifiers, and loudspeakers, and is supplied with a crystal hand microphone and 7 in. spool of tape. It has input sockets for the microphone, radio, or other high-impedance signal sources, and has sockets for extension loudspeaker, high-quality output, and pickup output.

- 2 tape speeds 7½ and 3¾ ips.

- Pause control for instant tape stop and start.
- Rapid forward and reverse winding.
