  • Notes
  • TRQ-288 cassette tape recorder. A guest wrote to us: I believe that this TRQ-288 (or TRQ-298, 258, 256 or 296) was used for a video game called Shenmue 2. The game was developed in the late 90s and released on Xbox 1 in 2002. The setting of the game is Hong Kong and Kowloon in China, 1987. Perhaps the Hitachi recorder was a personal note from the director, Yu Suzuki, since that Hitachi would be considered quite old by 1987.
