Model 194 retractable tone chamber gramophone, H.M.V., circa 1930. At over 44 inches tall, the 194 was midway between the smaller retractable models and the larger ones in the 1927 range and cost £52.10 or, with electric motor, £77.10.

Con un'altezza di più di 44 pollici, il 194 era una via di mezzo fra i modelli rientranti più piccoli e i più grandi della gamma 1927, e costava £ 52,10 o, con motore elettrico £ 77,10. «Camera tonale» era un termine pubblicitario per «tromba interna».
