Beschreibung laut Preisliste 1934: "Zur Kopplung von Schirmgitter-Röhren in HF-Verstärkern und für die Vorröhre beim Bandfiltersuper. Auch für die Antennen-Ankopplung an Superhet-Empfängern hervorragend geeignet. Wellenbereiche: 200-600 m, 800-2000 m. Eingebauter Silberkontakt-Schalter."
Anfangs wurde das Modell in den Katalogen als AKE-HF-Transformer benannt, 1933/34 erfolgte eine Umbenennung als AKE-Hochfrequenz-Vierkant-Transformer, wahrscheinlich weil auch HF-Transformatoren in runden Gehäusen ins Angebot kamen.
