  • JFET converter to improve the performance of a communications receiver on three HF amateur bands. Home built in the UK by GM3NZI in 1965.

    6 ranges: 14 - 14.5 MHz, 21 - 21.5 MHz, 28 - 28.5 MHz, 28.5 - 29 MHz, 29 - 29.5 MHz, 29.5 - 30 MHz.
    Output for the communications receiver as tuneable IF: 2 - 2.5 MHz.

    Xtals 16.5 MHz, 23.5 MHz, 26 MHz, 26.5 MHz, 27 MHz, 27.5 MHz.
    (High side injection on 15 and 20m, low side injection on 10m
    13 dust core tuned inductors plus IF trap.
