    All components could be bought from mail order houses, e.g. Andrae, where the catalogue R-6 offers many parts:<br />

    the straight metal name plates could be bought e.g.from Andrae catalog R-6, page 60, as well as the curved 90° "increase current" ones from the same catalog page. ACME A-2 semi mounted p.49. Tap switches, contacts and switch stops, all at p.50.

    The DeForest coupler is not very clever placed. To close the lid the coils must be pulled out. Even worse: I you attempted to close the lid with coils in place....the risk of damage is rather high!

    The case is obviously from a Flemming Quack set (maybe also the semi circular scales).
